Guests swimming off the stern of the catamaran at midday

The experience

A day at sea, written for you before you arrive

Departure from Palamós. A route chosen that morning for light, wind and quiet. Everything else is service.

The rhythm

Six hours that never feel scheduled

10:00

Palamós, quietly

Welcome on the pontoon, a cold drink, shoes off. The skipper walks you through the day's route and the two alternatives he is holding.

10:40

Out under solar power

The coast opens: Castell, Cala Estreta, the pines above s'Alguer. No engine noise, so nobody raises their voice.

12:30

Anchor, water, nothing

Swimming, masks and fins, the glass floor between the hulls. Paddleboards for whoever wants the far side of the cove.

14:00

Lunch at anchor

Prawns from the Palamós market, garden vegetables, Empordà white. Served on the shaded aft table, unhurried.

17:30

Back with the low sun

A slow return along the coast, coffee or a last swim off the transom. Alongside in Palamós by six.

Private skipper

Someone who knows which cove is empty today

Local skippers, licensed and discreet. They read the tramontana before it arrives and move the day rather than argue with it.

Chef & catering

The market, four hours after the boats land

From a light table of local produce to a chef cooking on board. Dietary requirements and children are handled without ceremony.

Water & coves

Snorkelling, paddleboards, shade

Equipment on board, a swim platform at water level, and enough shade that nobody has to hide below.

Bespoke

Celebrations, retreats, proposals

Photography, flowers, a sommelier, a quiet agenda for eight colleagues. Tell us the intention, not the logistics.

Charter FAQ

Practical questions, answered plainly

Anything else, ask your named contact directly.

What is included?

The yacht for your exclusive use, a licensed skipper, fuel-free solar cruising, water toys, towels, ice, water and soft drinks. Catering, wine and additional crew are quoted per format.

Is a skipper included?

Always. All SolarCove days are skippered — the vessel is not offered bareboat.

Can we customise the itinerary?

Yes. We propose a route based on the forecast and your preferences, and it stays adjustable on the day. Longer coastal or multi-day itineraries are quoted individually.

Is catering available?

From a light local table to a chef cooking on board. Dietary requirements, children's food and specific wines are arranged in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?

The skipper decides on the morning of departure. If the day cannot be sailed safely or pleasantly, we move it to another date or refund it in full. We do not sail a poor day at sea.

Where do we depart from?

Palamós, on the central Costa Brava, roughly ninety minutes from Barcelona and forty from Girona airport. Alternative departure points can be arranged on request.

Send us a date and a mood. We will send back an itinerary.
