The brand
A quieter idea of the Mediterranean, operated properly
SolarCove began with a simple observation: the best hours on the Costa Brava are the ones nobody hears you arrive for. Everything we built follows from that.
Vision
To make silent, solar yachting the natural choice for premium days at sea in the western Mediterranean.
Not because it is virtuous, but because it is better: quieter anchorages, cleaner air on deck, longer stays, lower running cost.
Mission
To operate a small fleet to hotel standards, and to open access to it through structures that respect the owner's time.
One base, one service protocol, one named contact per guest and per owner.
Anchored in Palamós
A working port, not a postcard
Palamós still lands its own prawns, still runs its own fish auction, and sits within an hour of the coves that made this coast famous — Castell, s'Alguer, Aiguablava, the Formigues islands.
We work with people from here: skippers, chefs, producers, a shipyard. The experience is local by construction, not by marketing.
Our approach
Sustainability as engineering, hospitality as detail
Solar-electric by default
Every vessel we operate runs on solar-electric propulsion. No diesel tender fleet, no generator running through lunch.
Respect for the anchorage
Sand-only anchoring away from seagrass meadows, waste back to port, nothing overboard.
Short supply chains
Fish from the Palamós auction, vegetables from the Empordà, wine from within an hour's drive.
One party per day
Fewer departures, better days. Utilisation is managed for quality, not for turnover.
Platform ambition
A regional operator, one hull at a time
The Costa Brava is the first base. The model — solar fleet, operated ownership, curated hospitality — is designed to repeat along the western Mediterranean where demand is premium and anchorages are increasingly protected.
Asset-backed
Every euro of growth sits behind a real, identifiable vessel.
Two revenue layers
Charter operations and operated co-ownership on the same asset base.
Regulatory tailwind
Low-emission, low-noise vessels are welcome where others are being restricted.
Repeatable unit
One base, one service protocol, one operating standard per additional hull.
